This was always going to be a tough game, it turned out that way and the league champions title will have to wait another week.

Both sides started with fast controlled hockey and it proved that the drag flicking ability of the number 11 in midfield was going to be vital. There were a couple of short corners that were not on target but before long he had his eye in and fired COP into the lead.

Mike Osborne got one back from a well worked move but yet again in the 2nd half the number 11 scored again.

Again GHC pushed, created chances but just couldn’t find the goal so a 2-1 defeat.

Weymouth at home this week to claim the title.
